Project experience

Our project on raising enough money to build a well for a whole community was something that exited both John and I. Just the fact that because of our project we could save thousands if lives made me happy. Working in a group has made it a little easier just because we could work together. Putting both of our thoughts together was a help. We could discuss the places and things we were going to do and were we where going to do them. I hope that this project will turn out to be a success.

The importance of writing

     Writing is very important. Many times we may think that we won't need writing in our lives. But the truth is that actually we do need writing in our lives. For example; there was a story of someone who was applying for a job. For that job she had written a resumé. She went for the interview and she didn't get the job. A few weeks later the business which that person had interview with called and asked if they could meet. In the end they did get the job and that's because the business was impressed with the soon to be employ. So there we see that writing is important. It may be the reason we get a job someday. One day I want to do something in the medical field. Something to do with babies. To get that job I will need to write a resumé, that means I'll have to write. Also I'll be writing things for the babies I see. I know that sometimes I don't enjoy writing but if I start to enjoy it know it well help me later.

When is was writing the formal letter I was writing to a celebrity about their advertisement on bottled water. I think that if I write to a celebrity about how we should start drinking tap water instead of bottled water, it would make a bigger impact than if I were to go out and have my picture drinking out of the tap. I think that they would have a much higher chance to persuade people to drink out of the tap. That's because people look up to them and to some you might say they're someones god (which isn't good.) I hope they will one day persuade the world to drink out of the tap so that people in third world countries.

Dear Jennifer,
I am a student at Atlanta Adventist Academy. I am writing this to you because of the water bottle advertisement you have. During school we have been learning the problems bottle water has on humans and on the environment. Many people in third world countries don't have access to clean water. Even though they don't have access to the clean water they still drink it. The women have to walk many miles in dangerous conditions to go get water, which is contaminated water. Then when they bring it back to their families they have a choice, to drink e water and have the chances that they die, or they do t drink and die of dehydration.  It's something that's big problem. Along with that water companies are going into towns and practically stealing all the water the people had. Then they sell it to the people who once had it for free. Some water companies just use regular tsp water for their water. Bottle water is no healthier that tap water, and tap water is almost free. I was thinking that since you were a celebrity you could be a big help to redirect the people in drinking tap water. That way people in undeveloped countries could also have access to the clean water.
